David graduated from Indiana University, PA, where he studied with Jack Stamp a well known percussionist and composer. He received his Master of Music degree from East Carolina University in percussion performance. He is excellent in all types of drums and mallet instruments, particularly the Marimba. He is accomplished in both classical and jazz techniques, performing frequently in Myrtle Beach and in Wilmington in symphonies, churches and jazz clubs.
