    Music Theory:
    The Academy offers music theory tailored to the students' needs with emphasis on ear-training, sight-singing, harmonic and melodic dictation, transposition, harmonic composition and analysis, and survey of musical styles.




    Conducting:
    Conducting Classes involve the study of rehearsal and performance techniques of instrumental and choral conducting. Classes include sequential studies of all musical periods as well as th etechniques of conducting.


    Ensembles:
    Ensembles are formed with various combinations of instruments: brass, woodwind, strings and voice. They are organized according to ability. Students will study chamber music repertoire from all major musical periods.
