Chris
Johns began cello lessons at the age of four.He has attended many workshops and
institutes and won many awards and scholarships.During his freshman year at UNC
Wilmington Chris was the winner of the Richard Deas Concerto Competition that
enabled him to perform with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra.Recently he was the recipient of the
William Adcock Scholarship for music excellence.Chris performs in many chamber music
ensembles as well as with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra.
